Raw image files (.nef, .cr2, .dng,...) can be edited with bLUe.
When developing a raw image, you can adjust exposure, white balance and brightness. However, for better results, you should also consider to apply a camera profile to your image. The profile contains a color LUT and/or a tone curve, depending on your camera model. read.. bLUe supports camera profiles in the Adobe® .dcp format. An easy way to install these camera profiles is to download and install the free Adobe® DNG Converter. Do not forget to set the right paths to the installed profiles in the bLUe configuration file config.json.

When loading a raw image file a develop adjustment form opens in the right pane.
Exposure and white balance are automatically adjusted.
The Camera Profile combo box displays the available profiles corresponding to your camera model.
The Tone Curve from the selected profile is automatically applied to the image.

The Cam Tone Curve window displays two curves.
- A fixed red curve : this is the tone curve defined in the current profile.
- An editable black curve with three draggable control points (control points can be
added or removed with mouse clicks).
The white triangle indicates the brightness of the last clicked image pixel.
